Presidents Day Hike: Mission Peak

Things have been crazy these past few weeks. I’ve been all over the place, and I have a lot of exciting things coming up. This is my last week at the fantastic internship I’ve had for nine months, I’m working on a bunch of different projects, and I’m starting new adventures too! Stay tuned for updates on the job front.

In the mean time, I want to share some other things I’ve been doing. I had last Monday off work for Presidents Day, so my best friend and I decided to hike one of the most popular trails in the East Bay. I’ve always heard everyone talk about Mission Peak, so it was time to try it out. It was definitely tougher than I expected ā€“ four miles up with a super steep, rocky home stretch to the peak, and then four miles back down. We were out there for a little over three hours and finished just before the sun went down.

It was gorgeous out ā€“ā€“ we are absolutely spoiled by California winters.
